I'm sorry to say I don't agree with this lesson,
for that to work your opponent would have to be very thick.
If you can get away from another hunter, in that set up, you would probably need to use mobility and SOTW since most hunters use 19 evasion, they would be able to keep you in place or keep up with you to the point where you cannot get away. Which disregards the first 3 steps. To have enough mana to get away, ( you would most likely need to camo to stay close and rep shot them) would be almost impossible
Then, to have enough mana to kill both the pet and hunter,(or hell, even use normal hits) or even just hunter before you got mowed down-
Well, I would say I need to see it to believe it.
Edit: and if the hunter isn't able to keep up with you, to even have enough time to rep shot a hunter would be near impossible too, most hunters never stop moving, even when they lost their target, their possible passive speed and your negative speed, it would be very hard to rep shot them. And please don't say you don't need camo to stay close to a hunter, as to stay close to them you need to be in sight range, which means, you're in their range too.

Master your petless art....
i just say that way youd easily either hit nothing since he cancels track and moves out of range in time or you just eat an ambush4 + confuse4 (all unbuffed) vs a pet with min 500 hp left plus a hunter free to buff with min 1.8k left. no good deal id say :P
To label it "master your petless art" is a bit exxagerative.

It all depends on how you launch your attack....
From the side.. the enemy cannot get out of range, and the pet is always behind the hunter so pet cannot ever escape..
Once the pet is dead.. the hunter you are attacking has lost 70% power
You can destroy him without buffs with ease...
ensnare + dual shot basics...
Master your petless art ... do this... and you will own regnum...
