Graphical errors and corruption appear recently (Char Select/Creation)

Hello everyone! I've recently come to Regnum Online and I'm having a technical problem. I am able to patch and login just fine, and the opening movie plays. Everything looks fine through the loading screen and on realm select, but when selecting a realm the 3D graphics all are horribly corrupted! Not too long ago, these screens were clear and looking proper but now everything is impossible to see!

I tried changing all my settings to low in the configuration options prior to launch, but the visual corruption still persists. My video card (An ATI 4870x2 2gb w/ ATI Drivers 10.5) works fine in other games so I doubt it is the card itself. Perhaps the latest World Cup patch is the cause of this issue? Attempted verification shows no issues and reinstall from the setup already on my HDD (1.6) didn't fix anything. I've read that others are having graphical issues as well. Any ideas on the fix and thank you!

I am having the exact same issue. I just DL'ed the game for the first time. I have an ATI 5770 with the latest drivers that just came out this month. Once I go to create my characters I can't the actual character. I can see the UI for creation, but the character is just a mess of squares.

I ussually don't have graphical errors, but today I had also graphical errors (catalyst 10.6, suse linux 10.2).

Setting down the character detail settings to the lowest level helped a bit to make the error smaller. Any part of the knight Djerun (tyr) was the source of the graphical error.

I'll take a screenshot when I get home from work. Just now seeing the request. I found out that turning the game on safemode allowed me to see the character models.

Ok, I have replicated the issue and know what is causing it. However, I am unable to take a screenshot. The problem is full screen mode. If I turn off full screen the problem goes away. Alternately I can change the mode to Safe mode and the problem goes away. I tried individually changing each option to test and full screen mode was the only way that had any effect when not using safe mode.

When I try to take a screenshot at the Character select screen or even in-game I just get a blank/black screenshot. It doesn't show what I see, which is all of the UI elements, no problems, but the the world or characters do not load properly, just brown squares all over the screen.

I tried to attach my dxdiag file but it exceeded the file limit by about 10KB, it was 27kb. It's also too large to fit in a post.

I'd like to confirm that attempting to screenshot it on character creation/selection (right when all the races of a given empire are displayed), only gives a fully black screenshot. The corruption is so bad that the entire screen, aside from the text box which renders just fine, is filled with jagged, random shapes of the "right" color for whatever you should be looking at.

I can also confirm that switching to windowed mode fixes the issue. I have all my settings turned to high more or less, with 4x AA and AF on top of that!
