Xfire does not work in-game while running RO on Windows 7 Home Premium. I tested it with other games and it works just fine so I am pretty sure the problem is Regnum.

Jep, I tryed it last month it doesnt work too bad=( but I keep wondering how did the other players do it? Cuss you see enough RO videos on Xfire.

Well I dont really care I use fraps now and I'm statisfied

I liked Xfire :/ Free version of Fraps only records 30 seconds at a time which is a shame. Xfire records for way longer... and the quality is still good.

You only need to change a line in xfire_games.txt(its inside of xfire folder)
To this one
DetectExe=LiveServer\ROClientGameEX.exe

I will try this, if it works tyvm!

Edit: there is no xfire_games.txt file in my Xfire folder, I even reinstalled and then re downloaded and reinstalled just to be sure it wasn't something that got accidentally corrupted or deleted.

Yea it detects RO and i can use X-fire to launch RO, but the in-game functions don't work. if that makes sense

I don't have that file :/ Here is what is in my Xfire folder..

Don't look for it under program files, the needed file is in ProgramData.

Change DetectExe=LiveServer\ROClientGame.exe to DetectExe=LiveServer\ROClientGameEX.exe, and xfire will recognize regnum. But no ingame overlay shows up, at least for me... I can still record videos, though. (I just don't see the GUI and don't know if I'm actually recording because of that)

Don't hesitate and annoy those guys from xfire, create a shitload of threads, maybe they'll fix it then xD
