I have had this problem a few times and i restart my computer or just install regnum again and normally fixes. This time it has not fixed it. I log in (lot of the time Connection to Autopatch Server Failed come up), if that doesn't come up Server is not available (CO12). I know its not down or beeing worked on. I would really like some help on how to fix this. I use wireless Internet connection. The ports ARE open. I just dont know what else to do. Thanks for the help :)

Do you know if this is a problem particular to Linux? If so, what distro are you using?

I feel ya HYD, same problem for me. I played Regnum yesterday, now it's not letting me on. I run Windows, so I'm sure it's not a Linux issue..?
EDIT: Nevermind, problem solved. Just had to wait a few minutes :p

its probably one of the only 10 games for linux. anyways, it might have something to do with a firewall or your ISP.

Also, my dads computer is doing the same thing for me. Its much better and faster but also runs Linux Mint 9. Ports NOT open for him but for me they are. Not sure what else to do from here

You're on wireless, right? Any chance you could hook up via wire for a bit just to eliminate the wireless setup as an issue?
If you have a separate cable/dsl modem and router, you could try plugging directly into the modem to eliminate the router.
(You probably want to coordinate the timing with your dad, so he doesn't get disconnected from his company's teleconference, and they suddenly see a bunch of giant goats and dwarfs running around their videoconference screen.)

I cannot go wired :( But this is what i did. I restarted the Router to see if that worked. It did. But when i logged out after a while cause we started getting farmed, i got on a lil while longer on diff charracter on dads computer. It started to work. After a while i exitted it to do something and then try to get in again, it doesnt work. Connection to Autopatch server failed. This time the ports are opened for this computer. WTH is my problem??
