View Full Version : Regnum Configuration Manager

Yesterday I created a configuration manager for Regnum.
On startup, it prompts you for the path to the Regnum configuration file and then lists all configuration options based on categories and lets you change them.
User friendly names and descriptions for each option can be added in the specifications.xml file in the same folder.
If you are bored sometime, feel free to add some new definitions and upload the changes in [code] tags in this thread.
I hope you find it useful.

Does it work for windows? xDYes but you have to compile it, or ask someone to compile it for you.
I don't use Windows so I cannot create an .exe file for you.

Nice work Z!!
I kinda guessed at the depends since I wasnt sure what all the qt package in arch included. In Debian/Ubuntu its broken down into a core package (I used libqt4-core) and modules... I set the depends to: libqtcore4|libqt4-core, libqt4-gui|libqtgui4, libqt4-xml
Leme know if I should change

Can you make a spanish version? :p ;).I could make a translation module of the UI into spanish, but someone would still need to write Spanish names and descriptions for the options (which is not even remotely finished for the options in English, yet)

Check attachments, same view as the screens from the starterpost. But missing options.

Check attachments, same view as the screens from the starterpost. But missing options. It seems as if your config file is not populated with all the options and their default values.
You might want to ask someone to give you a complete configuration file to play with, or use mine as a template: http://pastebin.com/45XE9AnP.
Good luck! :)

Whaha, I see what I did wrong. Sorry but I pointed to the config file inside the Live Server folder. Instead of the one above it.
But it works great now :) thanks for the program.
