Game Crashes - ATI + Ubuntu 7.04 (Logs inside)

Hi,

since I left my flat for holiday I want to play Regnum with my Girlfriend.
I did not take my Desktop-PC with me but I fetched my Laptop.
I installed Regnum and it worked once (to my surprise, since the Laptop doesn't have a real graphics card).
Unfortunately I am facing some really strange issues since yesterday. The game crashes all the time.
It crashes when I hit the "Play"-Button, it crashes whilst I play, sometimes it even freezes my whole machine so I am forced to power it off the hard way and reboot.
This is annoying. I just want to share the information. Maybe somebody has an idea or NGD wants to fix this. ;)

It is a HP Compaq nx6125, running Ubuntu Linux 7.04. Here are some further informations:
