I will veer away from that.

I like to fight Annavilya who usually gets the better of me and hits hard.
I also like Ieti. Good conjurer and keeps the Syrtis thing going at our forts.
I also like Solomon Dean. I just see red every-time that oversized hammer smashes me.
I chose based on RVR really.

Tigerous and Co. Falls into the wilderness PK type players. If you are out there alone well, expect bad things to happen. I am not concerned that much about them except that they do seem to play an awful lot. It could be unhealthy.

I'm really more healer than fighter. I sometimes get the urge to smack another player and wish I had ivy with me or at least beetle. Guess we healer types could always have a staff-off. Watch it, though. I sometimes get criticals of 195 on fort doors with my staff. Rawr!

Nah it transferred just fine. I smiled through it nodding because it happens! A lot of times I'm just scanning health bars and tossing heals and mana so quickly I don't register on whom I'm casting. And when I miss someone I feel like i really blew it. Success for me is sometimes gauged by how many people live through the incident. :D "We got the fort and everyone's alive? Excellent!"

my list is composite by the best enemy that gives me more fun and adrenaline when i fight them:

1-Drago I :wtf guys!When i play my barb even if we are in the zerg,we move to the side and fight alone 1 vs 1,and even if barbs got their usual combo,with him is never the same.He use the brain so i have lot of fun.Lat time i have a great fight with him,he was camping pp ALONE,and we meet and gone on herb beach havong 40 min of pvp.was fun.

2-immune: When i know he is around the adrenaline go up,and i wait his attack..he is the ONLY huter that don't use confuse,at least on me he never used,and that make our fight moooooore intresting.I love fight with him,as with drago,even if the hunter have his combo with him the fight is never the same,and the result too.

3-Mages...the only 2 that give me problem and that make me think before attack them in 1 vs 1 are Dune and Falco.

Yes you are right on that..the random resist evade etc is really annoing,is made to allow all ahve a chance to win a duel i think,but when you see 1 resist is ok...not when you see 2 or 3 resist in a single pvp...or what about the UM fail or the sotw fail....mah...that's redicoulus i'm agree,and it destroy your tactics too.

6 months ago i pvpd 1 syrtis barb, and he resisted (he didn't use um) roar, kick, feint, beast attack and howl and he got me easy. wtf

I never really made enemies, although they sure like to make an enemy of me, as I get so many people targetting me in every fight I get made to look like a paper player just by the sheer amount of incoming projectiles. :p But if I had to chose I would probably pick Hephaestus and similar highly skilled players, for requiring rediculous levels of skill to beat one on one. No one, I don't play wz much and had a long absence anyways, so whenever I am in wz its usually just to help someone (friend/random person I just find) get leveled up so he can be a whoremaster sooner.

So I'm an easy kill and basically just stopped skilling self defense buffs completely when setup for supporting grinders, as often no amount will protect against a zerg wanting rp's or easy kills anyway, more points for buffs that help allies in grind I otherwise couldn't afford to skill for them before, are a welcome change.
save is a short walk to grind spot when I get ganked anyway so I sell, and rinse, repeat.

So I don't take it personal that someone kills me with barrier and regen 1 as my only defense (mostly for aggro mob and regen from ambitious anyways)
If someone can understand I'm no threat and just doing my rounds, all is good. I admit I don't like the same player killing me every 10 minutes but If it makes him feel like he has accomplished something then whatever.
If I'm left alone I can care less if a like minded ignis or alsius grinds nearby if my grind party is okay with that as well. Just 'kill the conj' stigma really I guess so can't take it personal.

I'd prefer to get to know more of these players that do kill me though, I wonder what they are like. (not meant to be rude, I just mean I'd like to know the Regnum Community as a whole, not just Syrtis, but I'm not big fan of IRC)

Closest comparison for me would rather be "who wouldn't I rez/heal/acknowledge st all" Whoever knows me can figure that out without a doubt.

Rez 1 for them I will do though, preferably during boss fights or situations they are sure to die immediately after again.

Wait a minute... When Ignis had night crew both Alsius and Syrtis was against us it was "OK". But now, when you have numbers and players decide to fight against Alsius night crew, you a little bit "complain" about that??? :facepalm3:

I don't call ten man invasions having "numbers". And we're only forced to invade because Ignis hardly ever comes to their forts anymore. It wasn't a complaint, but you must realize it is damn boring when a realm never comes to their forts for 6+ hours, sometimes an entire night, just because you have 2 more guys than them.

I'm getting kinda sick of having to stand around all of the time just to get 30 reds.

And while we're making it personal, you can blame tonights invasions of both realms on reds and greens team-camping our save altar for about half an hour.

By the way , when we invaded Syrtis tonight I rushed the gate and saw at least 20 people defending it, mostly archers and mages. But they weren't there prior to that when we broke the gate, and they hardly even chased gem. They suceeded in getting it back, but we teleported to Algaros and got it again. >.>

Here's a tip: Don't camp noble if someone is after your gate and gems. Or have a backup plan. The reason we kept trashing all of the red & green invasions is because we save at gate save, then go camp boats, and when we fail to stop the greens or reds at the boats, we just drown beating them to gate by a few minutes.

Alsius is not stronger than the other realms atm, we're just thinking more. Its more diffcult to do all of this than it seems.

Now, I'd rather not turn this into a whine or argument thread, my post was on-topic.

That's the general idea.
The problem with Syrtis is in the late hours (GMT) we lack the veteran players - whom are asleep for the most part - to actually keep our realm efforts together.
Without someone to keep form, we're just a mindless horde.

As I recall, ten-man Alsius invasions are rare now. There were some when a dozen or so attacked in a party and a group of gelfs tried to storm the gate too, but we had a nearby save, so we won with a little over equal numbers. But nowadays most Alsius invasions involve a zerg. There were at least two times when we were helpless because we had like 5 people on (literally) and the gate was swarmed with goat character graphics. We couldn't do a thing. It was suspected that all ignis-alsius multirealmers immediately switched to goat accounts and started to zerg us.

And btw, Alsius doesn't suck, they are just underpopulated. Imagine how WE got warmaster quests done with 10 alsius online a day. Although now that is definitely not the case.

Stop complaining. Underpopulated Alsius = Complain. Populated Alsius = Complain. Overpopulated Alsius = Complain.

Well ehmm I dont know.. if only there was some kind of ''invasion'' system where you could kill our 'king' or some equal boss which you would get a reward for because with only 10 players only that shouldn't be so hard.. But there isn't, OR WAIT! There is!


Come on.. If you're with a group of 20 people and we're with a group half as big, do we even stand a chance? I mean everybody will get a kill counted for the WM quest and easy as that Wartis or Syrmaster.. I prefer the first one.
Please stop talking about crap, if we would've been overpopulated or at least populated we would've been able to bring an unorganised invasion together in a night. Are we able to do that? No sir, we're not!

How many times did Syrtis kill thorkull? Yeah thats right ALOT of Times, don't think we are overpopulated immediately cause we manage to kill someone else's Boss for 1 damn time.

Yes I can confirm this. I've never seen as much goats online as there were yesterday.. truly a good sign! I don't think it will happen again though... But lets hope for the best!
