I log on today to find that Syrtis REDACTED While I was sleeping. I find this unacceptable since everything should be done on my time. Especially since you succesfully aquired one of ignis' REDACTED.
Anyway jk, congrats syrtis on getting a REDACTED.
Congratz :D! Now u can stop complain that "u invades at night"(ok at least those who still do it).

Guys why cry?
I'm the first who told invasion at night sucks....but you see,ngd make that system and the only way to invade is during the night.
Speak with ngd, make a different complaining post, don't cry with us....
May be after 1 billion of users complaining about how actual invasion system works, they SHOULD start to THINK about that, and in the 2014 we can have some change ;) (of course i'm sarcastic....cause i mean in the 2016,not 2014 :facepalm3:).
This invasion was clearly in the morning.

Actually it was in the morning and after the first attempt that got a gem, Ignis got like 30 people on and easily held the forts. Alsius and Syrtis simply caught Ignis with their pants down - that's all. Once they were able to regroup and start giving some back, every other attempt to get the other gems was completely foiled. During the first attempt two gem carriers were even locked inside the gate and had to battle to protect the gems for something like half an hour, otherwise more would've gotten out. I'm not a big fan of these new mechanics on either side of the fence. :facepalm2:
But to summarize, it was not some great feat. Iggies had only a few people on and it took some time for them to all wake up to their invasion alarms. Normally at this time of day they have quite alot, so I can only imagine that something was going on in real-life or they just needed some extra sleep from how long they all stayed up to help Wyatt with the Alienware tournament prior to the points reset.

Just because you'll come for it, doesn't mean you'll get it :)

Im almost certain this exact thread has been posted about 50 times, pretty much every time someone copys someone elses tactics. For that reason its best to never moan about the only thing that works, because you're going to be doing it eventually.
But for the same reasons dont act like a prick when your realm is 'in power' then expect sympathy when things change, again, and again, and again ...

I thought you knew by now - that's the nature of Ignis. It's funny how Internet anonymity gives people ballz of steel though - I'm actually writing a paper on this subject right now, kinda funny.

Wouldn't mind reading that :P Its excusable with new players, but with people who have been through it a couple of times now, its just funny. More so when its people who went through the initial rise and fall of Ignis power when invasions first came about.

Can you please clarify what is "the nature of Ignis"? After that we can discuss "how Internet anonymity gives people ballz of steel".

No it hasn't. The author is not only acknowledging the effort other players did (that has been done), he's also doing it in the only manner possible on these forums so the thread isn't deleted (by omitting the word "invasion"). It is, obviously, a parody on recent (deleted) forum threads about invasions.

Still repressing it I see... it's a collective sport, you cheer about it when you win, you divert the subject when you lose, and in the meantime you complain about the referee (NGD).

Funny thread. Odd responses to what was an attempt at humour while acknowledging the effort taken to get the gem.
Very peculiar response from Compost there.

I don't think people know the meaning of a joke :facepalm3: The OP was just being funny.
I think it is good that there is a lot more fighting in our Timezone. Even if Alsius still does nothing but sit at an empty Meni or Shaan. I think they don't want their forts back. Which is sad.

Also, I'm unsure if Compost is writing a paper on internet anonymity or balls of steel. His syntax is confusing.
