I start the game, it downloads two files(NgClients.dll and libjpeg62.dll) and when I press play it says: "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click on OK to terminate the application." It started doing this after the patch. I need help!:crying1: :(

I tried that. It didn't work. Does anybody have any insight here? Is there nothing else I can DO?:ohill:
Edit: Now it only downloads the libjpeg62.dll file every time. It has the same error on the experimental server.

Does the experimental client work for you?

No, it just has the exact same error. It started this right after that big update on 6-4 . Could that have something to do with it?

As far as I know that error means you have a DLL conflict. You should search if you don't have DLLs in Windows\System32 folder with the same name of the DLLs located in Regnum's folder.

I searched for that file but it wasn't in there.

What file? Itīs not only one, you should check for all files (except the ones starting with "ng")

It didn't work.
It keeps downloading libjpeg62.dll. Why does it do that?

It should not. One reason may be your local copy it's being modified by some process after download, or it's read only and it can't be patched.

if he change the PATH varible can work?
PD: lo escribo en espaņol por que no se como decirlo: si cambia el valor de la varible PATH o alguna que busque las dll (no se si alguna varible de entorno lo hace) para que busque primero en la del juego puede funcionar?
EDIT: sorry i write this in spanish because i dont know how to explain it in english, meaby surak can translate it (please :D)

Any progress here? Is it still downloading libjpeg62? Are you using any software that can be modifying that file? (Maybe you have a virus?)

I ran virus scan and it was fine. Nothing has worked so far.:ohill:
That file could be modified by Windows System Restore (Microsoft automatic virus reinstaller). The System Restore will always restore a dll that it thinks has be corrupted or deleted so without stopping it renaming or deleting dll is almost imposable. Try turning it off by:
1. Click Start.
2. Right-click the My Computer icon, and then click Properties.
3. Click the System Restore tab.
4. Check "Turn off System Restore" or "Turn off System Restore on all drives"
5. Click Apply.
6. When turning off System Restore, the existing restore points will be deleted. Click Yes to do this.
7. Click OK.
