I tried to install the game using RegnumOnlineInstall_64 installer. I added execution rights to the file and run ./RegnumOnlineInstall_64. After that I' ve got following message:
[Elsworth@zx149f regnum]$ ./RegnumOnlineInstall_64

"::unknown bind Text <Tab>"

Try with a 32 bits installer ...maybe will work.

Installing 32-bit version of the game gives the same message.

From a quick google search for similar problems (such as here: http://mgl.scripps.edu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1066), it seems you might be missing some 32-bit compatibility libs.
You didn't mention which Linux distro you're using, but on Ubuntu installing "ia32-libs" might help. Other distros ought to have some similar package too.

Thanks for reply. I use fedora 14 x86_64. I installed some 32 bit libraries for compatibility with Neverwinter Nights. I tried to find something similar for Ubuntu's "ia32-libs", but without sucess.
What kind of libriaries (eg. names) are part of Ubuntu "ia32-libs"?

According to this source: http://linux.derkeiler.com/Mailing-Lists/Fedora/2010-11/msg00083.html
the equivalent of ia32_libs under Fedora would be "glibc.i686". So from a terminal:
yum install glibc.i686
If that doesn't help, I also read somewhere else (http://mgl.scripps.edu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1462) that installing 32-bit Firefox might install the necessary compatibility packages as a prereq:
yum install firefox.i686

:eek24: Aww fedora...fedora it's damn good distro but i use them only for servers...for media it's damn worst...and the probleme begin once with insane distro update...to many changes of that distro, slow down LPF support for lots of packges....i think if you will use a fedora 13 instead you will have more support....i will take a look an make a few tests on one of my servers to see if i can manage him to run.

Well, I just installed Fedora 14 (64 bit) as a VirtualBox guest under Win7 64 bit. I had no trouble running the 64 bit Regnum installer after a fresh install.
The 32 bit installer didn't launch, but it didn't give an error message either. Then I installed glibc.i686 and now the 32 bit installer gives me the same error message as yours. However, the 64 bit installer still works fine.
Are you sure you have the latest 64 bit installer? Do a checksum on it:
md5sum RegnumOnlineInstall_64
It should be: 3bb1f437b14dfd3d0b0d25ed10d60aa9
If yours doesn't match, re-download the 64 bit installer and try again... otherwise, I'm out of ideas for the moment. Is an OS reinstall an option? :P

I checked checksum of the RegnumOnlineInstall_64. The checksum is right. I will try to de-install glibc.i686 and will see what happen then.

I tried to deinstall glibc.i686 and try to again install the game but I still get the same bind error. Maybe someone could place installed game on rapidshare or another place from which I would download it and then try to check what kind of linux packets are missing to play the game.

Latest rolauncher 64-bit, will download all needed files automatically.
Hope it works for you :)
EDIT: Unk0 was faster... :P

Unk0, Znurre - thx for the game. Everything works perfectly. Conclusion is that the installer needs some linux packets which the game do not need.
