Connection Problems for Americans

Ever since the Raven server went up (and I assume up for a week or two for testing purposes, as I've been having this issue for just over a week now), I've been having Connection problems happen to me on Horus, 3-5 times an hour on average, sometimes more.

Sometimes they last 10 seconds, others 30 or more...others still total disconnect from timing out.

The problem is most people don't have this problem, so I'm playing and keep getting the connection problem message and either dying or missing out on fights while 90% of other players are still in game doing stuff (and often killing me).

I'm hearing some other Americans are having the same problem.

I tested and looked at my ISP connection here, and the problem is definitely my route to RO's servers, not my connection itself, the rest of the internet is fine for me in testing, and everything else I've done, connection-wise, has been 100%

If Raven as a server is hosted on the same server bank as Horus and Ra, it's *FAIL* and Game Samba needs to front the cash to host their own servers in NORTH AMERICA.

I seriously cannot play functionally right now with all of these Connection Problems.

Edit: For the record, I've tried resetting my cable modem a few times now and the problem persists. And still, the rest of the internet is entirely fine for me.

Server was lagging from time to time for all players but I haven't been disconnected.

Horus is down now btw. :(

My lag/connection problems (crashes and average 300ms pings) ended some months ago, after I've phoned to my ISP's hot line. Your ISP have probably something to do about your problem.

Actually, we did some checking, and even though Raven GMs swear it's a North American-hosted server, the IP points to a very similar one to Horus with only the lowest number changing, meaning that it is not only hosted on Sweden, but also on the same server farm, possibly even on the same machine and definitely on the same connection. So chances are high that Raven is actually responsible for the lag and other connection issues lately. And it's not just him, in the past week I've watched time and time again as almost the entire server got disconnected all at once, with everyone running in place and then getting back on only to find no allies. It's not happened today yet but it was starting to become very common.
