In fixed pipeline you cant see anything.
Also is fail that number is placed under quiver for archer. Clear sign on chset might be a better idea.
And finally, my personal opinion is that cloth looks like football dress.

Yeah you can't see the symbols on archers because of the quivers, they could have also put them on the sides, as mini emblems on the arm :S

Personally, I actually like the designs though. Mine looks like a small scale breastplate, only it doesn't have the big ugly shoulderpads that I hate so much ^^ So it's a nice torso piece for me next to the pirate clothing.

My only regret is that we didn't get one for each char. Other then that, nice of NGD to do something for older players, even if it kind of is an epeen gift.
