Everything works fine until you reach the character page and click play. Once you do it will say loaded 0 of X number of resources (sometimes it's 128 or 288 ect.) and my computer freezes. Task manager won't come up and all I can do is restart the computer. I've reloaded the game twice and that doesn't seem to help. I deleted the live server folder but that didn't help either. I run windows XP with trend micro security and realtek audio (motherboard).

Appreciate any help I can get.

Try to switch to Direct3D in the settings menu. Then run the game.
