View Full Version : Disabling character portrait by editing something.

Well I somewhere read that someone disabled the chatacter portait by changing some lines.. I thought it was Scias but not sure so I was wondering.
I can't find the post so I hope the person who posted it (If I wasn't dreaming) could tell me how he/she did it. I would really like to disable that, my FPS is pretty low actually and the face of my Uthgar doesn't fit the portrait -_-.

I heard it doesn't disable portrait, but only reduces its size to 0.
So I think it's still computed internally and you prolly won't see any change on your fps.

In one word, it's only a cosmetic change rather than fps improvement.

Do you mean those ugly circles near hp and mana bars? I want to disable them to: It`s impossible to use hp/mana bars now, cause they are to small, and have hardly readable bold font.

Disabling character faces and enabling resizeable log requires to edit core game files, and thus is not permitted by the rules of conduct.

So if you want to learn more about this you should do it outside of this forum and be aware you can theorically be sanctioned for this.

Look likes you have to make the file read-only to force the parameter.
