Can't resurrect after dieing when i log in

I have such a great problem,
I log in slow cause of a slow laptop,
but when i log in in the middle of a battle, or when a mob starts attacking me, i die, so when i finally see the screen of RO, sadly, i'm dead,
but the problem is i can't resurrect, i can't leave game or can't change char, so i have to close it and start over. I have no idea why i can't resurrect or why it doesnt react

ive had a simillar problem once when i went to die and got bored of waiting 90 seconds and went to log out.

i think its the way the game is designed.but i am not sure why.

best bet is to log out at central save,you are lucky RO never crashes leaving you in the middle of nowhere lol.

Sounds like its just slow or underpowered hardware, have you already tried lowering some settings and seeing if it helps?

I remember playing on a barely adequate laptop while on vacation...took me over a minute to log on, and usually Log in Sanctuary was long gone.

I have had this problem once or twice. usually resurrection is without problem. sometimes, the countdown runs off, but the button(s) to respawn at cs or gate dont appear when it runs out.

Possibly a lag issue too if thats the case, if hes losing packets.

well ive tried lower settings,
it didnt help tho, cause my ping is bad, but still so laggy,
so maybe its just my computer, thats possible too..

Ping determines the quality of your internet connection (the lower, the better) and is NOT effected by your hardware.

FPS (Frames Per Second) is kind of measure of your hardware (Mainly Graphics, RAM and processor) and is not effected by the speed of your internet connection.

Therefore if you have ping issues (ping well above 100ms) this is the fault of slow or disturbed internet connection (are you connecting by wifi or cable?), and lowering your in-game settings should not effect this.

If you have any posibility of trying out different connections (through cable, wifi..) try so. It might be easier to determine the problem if you find out what's the matter :)

heya fem :D, I used to have these really bad lags too (ping, now its only fps)
the problem was all the 'bad programs' on my laptop, with me cable or wifi made no difference too,
Perhaps some bad virusses or the usual garbage got on your pc, might wanna try taking you pc to some pc fixer guy person =p

When you die while your UI isnt initialized yet the resurrect button can not popup and there is no mechanics that postpones the popup until the UI is ready (You might even see an error in the log when you press CTRL+L telling you some widget doesnt exist/is "nil value").

Dont know any workaround beside relogging to make it res you.

Can try to speed up loading by setting
cl_terrain_load_radius=1
cl_mapobject_load_radius=1
in game.cfg (Will decrease amount of terrain and object that needs to be loaded) and put all normal options to lowest values in launcher options.

Eniooo, Well the problem is i cant relog too, so that aint a option too, i have to close in bad way cause i cant do anything then
i putted on save modus now and lowest settings, its better now
