Any Naruto Fans ?

Well as the title says, since this is The Inn I was wondering if there are more people like me who love watching Naruto ;p.

I used to watch it like 2 years ago, then for some reason I didn't but I started watching again previous month and I'm still loving it.
Episode 95 Shippuden atm. Lovin' it :D

I'm hearing a lot about this One Piece lately, could you maybe give a short summary about the concept of the storyline? It's almost impossible to beat Naruto in my eyes ;p

I watched few animes as well, but I always liked books more :)

I tried reading the Manga's and yes theyre really nice but I tend to have more fun watching anime videos of Naruto, probably because it's more realistic for me ;p.

And I just read a few pages of Manga, the story line is the same but weirdly enough sometimes the manga has more written in it, for example when Naruto learns the new Rasengan Wind Type nature manipulation 'skill' in the anime video you only see him train but just now I saw him train and the manga kept up with Deidara-san helping a new member of akatsuki (weird masked guy).. until now I haven't seen anything of this masked guy so kind of a spoiler for me now xD Anyway, the manga seems more detailed but again, it doesn't look that realistic.

I have to agree with you on that one, some episodes are boring as f*ck and have totally nothing to do with the task of bringing Sasuke back or even making Naruto more powerful. I probably wouldn't even miss important detail of the real storyline if I skipped these so called 'fillers' but I guess I have to watch them ;p

I know…all of them. I might watch too many animes. ^^ Toradora is probably my all time favorite.
Haven’t seen Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora yet, but I will. Some day.

Now consuming: Mirai Nikki (I think Yuno is cute xD), Another, Shakugan no Shana Final, Guilty Crown. All of them pretty much rock.
I can recommend: Bokurano, Casshern Sins, Code Geass, Darker than black, Death Note, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Gosick, Lucky Star, Paranioa Agent, Spice and Wolf (and of course Toradora! + Angel Beats!, or Elfen Lied)

Kinda got into this stuff wile waiting for boring PC diagnostics to run in the office.

So I am current on Naruto Shippuden and the Manga. The Manga is well advanced and it looks like the saga is approaching climax. No spoilers from me.
Btw, I do consider Naruto different to Naruto Shippuden in much the same manner I look at Dragonball as very different from Dragonball Z and Dragonball GT. (Kinda sad that I have seen every single Dragonball/Z/GT episode .)

I am also current on One Piece both Anime and Manga. I watch strictly subbed Anime. The dubbed ones are a poor comparison and lots of scenes are chopped out for the American audience.

Also Current on Bleach.

I enjoyed Code Geass :Lelouch of the Republic. It's short but good storyline. Side stories are being produced now. I rate it highly.
At the moment I am watching Kenichi : the mightiest disciple. Early days yet so I won't rate this one.

There is so much Anime out there and a heck of a lot of them are garbage. The romance genre seem popular with the Japanese crowd these days. Not my thing when it comes to anime.
I look in with interest at this thread as I am looking for some new stuff to view. Death note looks interesting plus I will take a look at that list Seher produced. Most of those are highly rated.

I finally got to watch Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. It’s supposed to be good but I somehow doubted it. You know, since it’s a magical girl anime. But—you know? THIS SHIT IS GOOD! 12 episodes of PURE AWESOME! One of the best thought out stories I’ve seen (I just love it when all pieces of the puzzle fit together in the end), nice animations (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQDEx47I9xw) (it’s more like a piece of art than an anime) and epic music.
And I cried in the end. ;_;

Stopped watching Naruto, started reading the manga. Same for One Piece and Bleach, and Fairy Tail.

Liked the To Aru Majutsu no Index and its spinoff quite a bit.

Beyond that, I'm waiting for some good ones to come out again that are in my vein of preference. But it's been awhile since I've watched anything. :/

I really liked the art and style with Katanagatari.
Bakemonogatari was kinda odd, but interesting.

Medaka Box is starting up, but I'm kinda "Meh" about it. :P

Shana = Toradora = Hayate no Gotoku = Zero no Tsukaima = Hidan no Aria, in terms of the Seiyu. (And the character she speaks is basically the same, too) Shana and Toradora are the best ones of them, though.


Oh and about the starting shows, nothing has caught my eye so far. Upotte is quite funny but not my thing (waaay too stupid), Sankarea started better than I had expected (not hard to pull off though, the description was more than meh) but is still not that good, and I didn’t even bother starting Medoka Box, it just sounds sooo crappy. I guess I’ll test Tasogare Otome x Amnesia and a few others in the next days…
I don’t think anything will turn out great though. I’ll most likely spend more time this season watching old stuff that I’ve missed. Everything starting now varies between What is this I don’t even and WHATAFUCK? I mean

Fair warning, Lain has some fairly fucked up situations. I haven't watched it, and it -is- a good anime (going by all my friends who have watched it) but, yeah.

You shouldn’t drop Higurashi until you’ve seen the fifth episode, shit gets complicated then. I love Higurashi because you can watch the whole first season without knowing what’s going on, lol. One of the best stories I’ve ever seen, again with a puzzle that is completely solved in the end.

Kekkaishi is a Shounen, no thanks. xD And I love Spice&Wolf, too, that anime is just great. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy. :3

Yeah, I made it about half way through Higurashi. I liked it at first, and I thought it was something up my alley, but then once I got past the halfway point, I was like, yeah, not for me.


Oh, Ghost Hunt was pretty cool (not Ghost Hound, that was kinda lame) I watched that around the time I was watching the Ghost Hunters series on sci-fi. :P

I also tend to like the Clamp stuff. Chobits FTMFW! Kobato. was nice too. Man, if I keep remembering crap, I'm going to sound like an Otaku.....well....minus the shut-in part hehe.

Yeah, fairy tail is your fairly typical Shonen (or is it Shounen?). Kinda in the same vein as bleach/naruto/one piece. I would say Fairy Tail is closer in spirit to One Piece, and not as serious as Naruto/Bleach. But it does have its moments.

I like it though, and I've been reading the manga for all 4 of em. They do a pretty good job of developing the characters through the series. Of course there are a few that are just sort of "there" if you know what I mean. But then I'm a little biased since I've always be a spellcraft kinda guy over the years. Well, not in MMOs, but in table-top and other older single-player games I was typically the mage. In MMOs I tend to be the stealth character if possible. :P Although RO's Idea of "stealth" is...um...er...I'll leave that for the game discussion boards haha.

Just watched all of the Naruto Episodes... Damnnnnn can't wait for episode 259. Too bad some *sshole spoiled a hugeee part of the anime for me, I just decided to not believe it and act as if I don't know what he said. We'll see ;p.
I noticed the manga is way ahead of the anime it's just that the manga just makes the 'naruto world' seem so far when the anime does exactly the opposite. Well, that's my opinion.

For the people who knowed, and obviously loved Avatar, the last airbender. They came with a new Saga(?) named: The legend of Korra. It's really nice, the avatar cyclus continues and it's at the water tribe's post now. Really really nice anime, highly recommend to see it ;p.

It’s too fast paced, IMO. Every episode feels like one huge recap. But, it still is very nice and epic, especially since those oversized Bigdaddies appeared. :D
