I got a 8k update and now I crash every 5min - WE NEED ALL THE GOATS WE CAN GET!!! please look into the last update...:dumbofme:

Seriously NGD needs to fix bugs, it's really annoying lately, old bugs remain and adding more on top of that with each update. Stop adding features and making new graphics and fix old bugs first please. These are the most annoying for me:
- Broken weapon animation for warriors weapon, casting first spell after resurecting makes the weapon go back on back, you can't see your attacks - one of the oldest bugs.
- People showing as being mounted on invisible mount, while they are not mounted at all. You can't see their animations and can't defend, you don't see when they cast, or if they do. You only see it in combat log.
- Cannot bind to central save when middle fort taken by enemy - already bound players can keep resurecting there while others must walk 3 times the distance to a fort from the gate.
- Weapon traits crashing linux client randomly
- Client crashing randomly when switching between windows and/or minimizing/restoring regnum window
- Server spike lags
- Bug in opengl renderer, glDrawRangeElements being called with invalid start/end arguments, causing linux mesa drivers (e.g. intel) to render the game incorrectly because they are checked for validity.
- Revealed people cannot sometimes be attacked.
- Revealed people sometimes appear after as long as 10s after being revealed.
- Camoed people can still be attacked by players, guards and mobs for several seconds after they camoed, long after their "camo fade animation" is finished, they just stay selected after camoing for the clients and the same goes for guards.
- Sometimes cannot attack fort doors
- People hugging rock appear as being stuck in the rock for the client, while they are not and are somewhere else already - you get not facing bug and they can attack. This is abused sometimes to get advantage.
- People and pets being stuck under the ground after resurecting or teleporting, cause mega FPS drop.

I get that and if I make a sharp turn while moving forward I get a crash also

Same here got 16mb update yesterday, i now cannot play more than 20 minutes without crashing, crashing after res, crashing using teleport, random crashing, crash crash crash, ping sucks balls now as well.
I'm running arch linux, and it would help if a tiny changelog were put up so we would know what the patch was about...

It was 8mb for me too. An same issues, since just constantly crash. Before since merge was bad with crashed and ping, but since this small one crashing is even worse.

Playing on Shader model 2, almost all settings on low.
Before this patch yesterday I hardly ever crashed now its every 20minutes and my fps is very inconsistent even standing at CS.
From Cs to herb in a straight line my fps goes from 100 to 20 to 50 to 20 to 24 to 50 etc etc very very inconsistent...
Playing on fixed or SM2 makes zero difference, playing smaller resolution makes zero difference...

I was playing a bit last night after the 8mb update. I didn't notice any crashes.
I was having some problems with crashes about two weeks ago where I'd crash in town with D3D mode, where switching to OpenGL fixed it. Switched back to D3D last night and no crashes there either.
Shader Model 4, max settings except shadows.
Dual Core 2 ghz
2 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 430 GT 1 gb
Windows Vista 32 bit

I've rarely crashes. For this, a different problem. I'm not sure if it's the graphics card or Regnum. If for example I I'm surfing the internet and in the meantime, a character change, it happens very often that my Regnum Online is full of window structures. Or do I switch from character sheet in the game world. If it gets really bad, I'm after the start of the task manager, a screen full of colorful dots and must restart my computer. Would be nice if you could help me :)

Shader 4.0
and not full settings because otherwise the FPS would be a little too deep:D
EDIT: Afer the 8 MB of "Update" a new premium item available (at least at Valhalla) a big box (Contents: 3 boxes luck) 3 for the price of 2!

I crash whenever I take WM teles, whenever I resurrect, when I take gate tele, etc.
Sometimes the game also randomly crashes for no reason. Prior to this update I almost never crashed, maybe once a week.

I haven't been crashing lately, I did another 8 mb patch. Guess problem is resolved. :thumb:
