Well for years i was able to play ro with ~10-15 fps on lowest settings but now it's impossible, got max 5 fps while standing with everything lowest, wtf, you call it performance boost?

I approve this for nVidia with 29x.xx drivers too (Linux) I was able to get 60 FPS with settings like i currently have on client, 30 FPS now: dafuq!

Also, now on old Intel PC (Intel Pentium D 3GHz, 1,5GB RAM, 945G chipset) the game crashes during loading (I've used the tutorial for that proprietary lib and it was all installed just few moments ago.) by allocating all RAM O_o I was able to play WoW: Lich King here with only 512MB of RAM and I'm not able to play this with 1,5GB? WTF? Is there a way to fix it? Because I can't change the settings, all video settings from launcher are gone...

As far as i remember my 2gb ram was always used in 90% while playing, system+game ofc.
safe mode kinda works, getting a bit more fps but game is still unplayable because of freezes.
trying again without safe mode with lowest details freeze completly os without loading full game, it stops at loading bar, ram going so high that i have to kill game.

btw Pakos, problem with lowest possible settings is using analogue of shader model 2 in options as lowest quality. U used to use fixed pipeline, so u got FPS down due to that.

for me the performance dropped down as well. My system: Radeon HD 3200 IGP, AMD Phenom X2 545, 2 GB RAM, Fedora 17
I used to play in force safe mode before the update, I even used the default Radeon driver (not AMD's Catalyst) and got about 12 fps. Now I use the proprietary Catalyst driver, because I thought it would help. I even have a higher framerate at 21-27 fps. But nevertheless it lags much more than before, even if I'm not involved in a fort war, outside of town.
I tested the game also on the experimental server, I actually thought that performance was better on Amun than it's now on Haven. But maybe I just didn't test it carefully enough.

I too was hoping that this update was more of a "lets make our engine more efficient".... I stopped playing a few months ago cause fps since the gui update had become unplayable, hoping that this update would bring me back... it just made it worse. Time to start saving up for a supercomputer...

Hello!
Can you specify your machine specs, OS, renderer (direct3d or opengl) and in-game Video settings?
Thank you!

nothing fancy, but before latest path i was able to play game on fixed pipeline with everything lowest (besides of animation) in window mode with around 15 fps at mob fights, 5-10 at fort fights.
Now with everything lowest im having 4-5 fps while standing, not gonna try fort fights :)
