View Full Version : Getting Very Low FPS

i have a i5 Alienware Computer about 3 Months old and i run this game at about 15 fps its very annoying

where games like Planetside 2 League of Legends and World of Warcraft i run at 45+ FPS i dont understand whats wrong

(im not a computer professional so step by step help would be nice)

Might have something to do with the server location. Do a traceroute and you'll see that WoW is in California and this game is somewhere in Europe. If you want really bad FPS on any game move to Australia.

I suggest you take a look at the options window; go to the tab labeled "Video", click the button labeled "Advanced" and play around with the sliders and check boxes. Don't forget to click the button labeled "Apply" to make your changes happen.

That would be true if Frames Per Second had anything to do with networking.

Yes the engine is quite very badly optimised and has FPS sinks due to bugs. Try to disable the Ambient Occlusion from the Video options (follow Daar's instructions), it's known to be bugged and a huge FPS sink in this game.

i messed around with it alittle and i got like around 40 fps average now

but i realized i cant move my texture quality and its set at minimum weird id like to know if theres a way to fix it

fix server location? maybe soon NGD make another server
