View Full Version : Guilty by default - a cockroach in your meal

There used to be a fast food "business". Those "businessmen"
weren't selling the best food. But they used to kick out
anyone who would question the food quality. So, to the new
customers, everything would look shiny and happy. Sometimes
the "businessmen" would put cockroaches in random meals.
Nobody knows why. Perhaps because some of their customers were
strong supporters, even after being kicked out for not
behaving in a place where people come to eat. They used to
return back wearing masks and praise the food. Because they
could get discounts!

Oneday it changed. Someone in the upper management had the
brilliant idea of trying to push the boundary even more. Those
who came to eat discovered a cockroach in their meal again.
This time all the meals had cockroaches. Big black ugly
cockroaches. And they were still alive! Eating such a meal was
a huge challenge.

Some just left to never return.

The loyal supporters started to eat the meal and claim how
tasty it is, through tears, while chewing the cockroach,
hoping for new discounts.

Others revolted. Since every business is supposed to care
about customers, they were offered an option. They could return
the meal. And get another one instead. Without a cockroach!
For free! But... they had to provide an ID for that. This was
humiliating. That day the "businessmen" took a few of their
meals in their face. Those who did that got kicked out of
course. For not behaving.

The rest just left. They left to return back later.

How do I know this? I was one of them and I'll come back. With
a torch. Because my pride is stronger than my hunger. And
nobody dares to feed me cockroaches.

IMHO bad hygiene in fast food restaurant is not a major issue with such crappy food.

In some countries people even eat cockroaches. Well I don't eat any meat, including cockroaches, but they are probably more healthy than much of the food the average American or European consumes.

I agree, and there's nothing to wash down your cockroach burger like a good ol' rat tail milkshake. God bless America.

Roaches are just chocked full of protein.

Protein. Fibre Fat Water

German roaches 63.8% - 10.6% 76%
Dubia Roaches 35.6% - 6.75% 61.18%

Not much fibre though
