argh so im testing out MU Online, which is an open pvp mmo, and i realised it has that same setup like Silkroad Online and other asian mmos which I dislike: They all have like 6-7 instanced worlds, and each world has 6-7 servers inside them !
Basically, that means everybody can go and hide their characters anywhere. This has the advantage of allowing players to be anonymous - but where's the fun in that? I think it's ok to be anonymous with regard to your identity, but not your build or playstyle. And then in an open PvP world you can go hide from your enemies easily. That is so boring.
Does that multiple server aspect of asian mmos bother you? why or why not?
edit: ok well i thought about things and well, if regnum had as many players as MU (MU is huge), we would probnably have the same server layout... hrmmmmmm..... would we like it then?
