It's been fun

I've been with this game for ~5 1/2 years. I've had a lot of fun times and met a lot of awesome people since I started. But I've decided it's time to put it down for good... it just doesn't offer anything for me anymore. I haven't logged on in quite some time, and so I think it's about time I make it official and say my farewell.

I was never the most sociable person, but to those who ended up my friends: thanks, I wouldn't have stuck around so long without you. Not gonna try to remember every name; you know who you are.

I'll still check the forums occasionally, maybe make posts just for old times' sake, but I'm certain I will never log into the game again. So if you'd really like to keep in touch, just let me know (if you don't already have my fb that is, obviously.)

I suppose that covers everything. Good luck, and see you around hopefully.

Could you tell us what games you might be playing next, if any?

Maybe the mods might object (mods? any objection?) but frankly, discussing good alternatives or progressions from CoR is as important as discussing the game itself. It's also fun to compare and discuss !

Well I dont want to make a thread of my own explaining why I quitted but the reasons are pretty much the same that Immune mentioned. Whoever quitted latelly I hope they find a new game or they progress irl and have fun at whatever they do :). Goodbye everyone, it was fun playing with/against all of u memories from this game will never be forgotten :hat::hat:.

I'm on borlis pass too (was told to go there by seinvan) however i havent bothered to level up once I found out its not necessary to do sPvP. Is there perhaps a clan with former RO people?

I wouldn't bypass levellling, it only takes a few weeks to get to the max level and the PvE in that game is just awesome.

I'm on Jade Quarry... our PvE is great (always plenty of people for bosses and major events), but our WvW is mostly just huge zergballs :/

By the way, you can guest to any other server (except between US/EU) twice a day, for unlimited time. Even join their guilds, parties and dungeons at any time. So if there is a guild for the players from Regnum Online you can join it regardless of what server you belong to.

If any Linux user is interested I can upload a version of wine-multimedia fully patched to run the game (with PulseAudio support). :)

It's official now I suppose. CoR is dying, no doubt. If there is (was) a more dedicated hardcore player of this game than Immy, I don't know about them. Now, he too, along with so many others, is gone; he's hung up his bows & set his snake & bugs free, so it's over. Keep polishing your composition & writing skills my man, maybe I'll see your name on a bestseller's list someday & get an 'Eternal' grin ... but just so I don't 'Jinx' you, break a leg, Blue. Best of times, best of luck....
