My Game is freezing at the loading screen.

Whenever I load up my game and select my character, it goes to the Loading Resources screen, where it freezes. Ive tried it several times, and it keeps freezing.

I have exactly the same problem. (I guess it has to do with the fact, that I use Linux (Suse 10.1) anybody know how to fix this?

Im using Windows XP SP2 and all my drivers and everything is completely up to date.

I have the same problem - and i use windows xp.
the only way i found to beat it is to leave it (sometimes for up to half an hour) and eventually the char is ready to use.
in anticipation of the wait i switch on before having to go away and do something else.
when i get back my char is ready.
This is hardly ideal tho - the prob needs fixing.

You could try adjusting the graphics settings. i.e. turning of particle effects, weather effects, etc. to a bare minimum. Agreed that this isn't ideal but at least you may be able to play.

I don't know then. What is your ping rate and connection speed? Are you wireless?
