User accounts and gmail

I bought another laptop yesterday and got the game installed fine and all. But the user validation codes for accounts having gmail are not receiving any codes/mails at all, the ones with hotmail get insta codes. Yes, I have looked at every nook and corner including the predefined and custom components of gmail.

I've tried repeatedly and even after hours, the result is the same. Please look into it.

Just kidding, hope you get it sorted mate. Ive recently installed and played RO on my laptop and as you said, I got the verification fine with a hotmail account.

Had the same problem and opened a ticket. The mail started coming, but was getting dumped in to the spam folder.

Now if they will just fix the malloc error I've been getting since the Halloween update everything would be great.

Finally got the mails after many hours, no idea why the delay though.

Probably has to do with the way Google filters/profiles the mail/users.

Probably have to do with NGD not applied DKIM and SPF on their domain. Maybe it can be they are in some blacklists too.

I had heard months agone that certain e-mail providers have indeed put NGD on their blocked lists due to being perceived as spambots. That would explain why some never get their verification e-mails. Is this true?

same here, waiting for 3 hours now. Last time I gave up and closed the code window, I only got it like almost 12 hours later

just a suggestion of a free email system which may be faster/safer than gmail/yahoo or hotmail.

try mail.aim.com.
it's AOL's aim email.
i find its ok and its free. im hoping it will be better than the others.
