Haven - Which Realm to Join?

Hi all,

Hope all are doing well! I used to play CoR back in the day, when it was Regnum Online. I played on Syrtis then. Now I'm thinking about restarting my Regnum life. I gather that Haven is the new Horus? If that's the case, I would like to join Haven. Which realm is currently the underdog on players?

currently the realms are pretty balanced, compared to horus last 2 years.

even tho, i would risk saying that the alsius is the stronger and syrtis is the underdog, but its not that much tho. all realms have alot of chances of fighting the others.

and yes, haven is the new horus.

Welcome back!

I would say Syrtis is currently lacking. A lot of their older players moved to Alsius and Ignis during their zerg domination, and now they are probably the weakest realm (90% of their population being archers doesn't help, haha). I'm guessing Alsius probably has the most currently and Ignis in second place. Ignis were in a bad way a little while ago but I do see their numbers increasing which is good.

I would suggest you to join syrtis as i believe it will rise 1 day

It's very wrong to say Syrtis is underpopulated with currently 5 gems on stock, Ignis 1 and Alsius devastated. Last night Syrtis had unbeatable zerg with 30+ people in it.

Underpopulated? No. Multis? Yes.

You can't tell that yet, gotta watch the situation for few days/weeks. Just because they had a huge zerg yesterday for a few hours doesn't mean they gonna dominate the server 24/7 from now on. Everything is possible ofc but still a hasty conclusion for now.

So for now population wise it is alsius>ignis>syrtis

Just letting you know, afaik NGD doesn't delete accounts so your very first login may still be active somewhere. If you made your character on the very first spanish server, then it could still be available on the server named Ra. If you made it on the server named Raven, that was merged with the server named Horus to become Haven.

The power of the 3 realms is very much in flux right now. Around the time of Steam launch, Alsius rose to prominence. But since then, the crown has beensnatched by Ignis for some weeks and much more recently (this week), Syrtis has been pounding the competition. So it is very much changing right now.

Maybe a good ay to pick realms is just by the physical environment you will be questing through. In terms of community, I believe Alsius is more chatty, Ignis is very serious about war, and Syrtis... well Syrtis is just lucky when everyone comes together online by chance. (Syrtis by default tends to have the mmost players over a 2+ year timeframe, mainly cos of elven race and elven landscape).

My conclusion is that all the realms are relatively equally populated, it just depends of multirealmers where will they log in.
