Question for players about drops
I'm no where near level 60 yet and I don't have high level grinding experience.
So I wanted to know, What are the odds of getting those level 60 Legendary gear I see people showing in commerce? What about Great Gems? How much time does one spend grinding for one of these lucky drops? I wanna know what expectations I should have.

Low
Very low. You be lucky if you drop one legendary item and even more so to get a good one. 99.99% of the lvl 60 legendary stuff ppl show are boxed items.
However a special with good resists and the right bonus will go a long way. Great gems are sadly also very rare.

I've dropped legendary gear twice in my whole time playing this game. First was at level 53, I dropped an offhand sword. The second was an elven staff. Both had REALLY good stats. But we're talking two legendary drops in years.. so don't pin your hopes on dropping anything useful. I have dropped a few +15 ele gems, which can be traded for mags in exchange for legendary gear.

To be honest, you've got more chance dropping a decent gem than boxing one. And it's cheaper

the best item I ever dropped was an epic lv 50 staff, 7cs 7int
Ive never dropped legendary and the highest ele gem I dropped was +12 light (recently got a 24hc gem too) unless you're extremely lucky (which is just as usefull when boxing) I suggest you either get a fortune, of xim or mags, or just get good friends/clan

In the years of playing this game, I dropped only one legendary conj bracelt, quite a few magical and epic items, but in term of usefulness not so much, most of time better off using special items with good stats. I dropped some high lvl special +7cs gloves for both conj and lock, and 2 pairs of high lvl +4, +5 as barb leggings.
As for gems, i conside myself very lucky, dropped many great gems, some good ones like as and cs+7 or lighting+15, bad ones like piecing gems and hc gems. In my experience you will have better chance to drop some great gems than some usefull epic or legendary gears. Gears with good stats combined with decent resists beats lucky boxes a lot of times.

I've grinded many toons to 60 & only dropped one legendary item shortly after they were introduced, & it was while supporting another on conj. It's been my experience & I contend it is true, that drops as a system have had their %'s tinkered with over the last 2 years. Comparing then with now, it is by far no longer as easy to drop & what does drop is noticeably of poorer material quality &/or usually possesses inferior or undesired enchantment bonuses. This also seems to be the case with boxes as well over the same time period. The %'s tend to spit out crap with crap qualities. Simply put, it has increasingly & observably become much, much more difficult & expensive overall to obtain high quality gear with highly desired enchantment combinations of high lvl value thru grinding or boxing. As a result, I refuse to drop-grind or box at all anymore. Period
P.S.: yes, yes, to obi-fay u listen ... get any gears at all near your own lvl that have high slash & pierce resists & make do til better comes along. Tho some may disagree, armor resists are more important imho than bonus enchantments anyhoo'. |

Drop chance in this game... it's just a joke... Champion of the Regnum has worst pay-to-play system called freemium. Game without currency (gold is useless)... You can't buy good item by normal way. You can't get it from quest or grind. You must buy premium boxes for good gear. And don't tell me that boxes have low chance to get nice item. 95+% of epic/legendary items comes from premium boxes...
You think that they will change this game? New roadmap? They don't want to make this game better for players. The one thing they care is money. If I'm wrong why they won't change this absurd system? Old code? or what lols. |

I dropped 15 slash and 14 lightning gems the same day. Although some ppl have never dropped a good gem, its all luck.

for each character ive levelled to 60, i tend to drop one powerful (usually elite level or something i think) item per character. And one +5+ gem of some sort.
the item can come at any level (my first was a level 16 bow whith rly good stats) and the gem i find comes somewhere past lvl 45+. i just wanted ot say that getting legendary etc items doesn't seem to affect your winning ability hugely. i mean, yea you see uber equipped players and they seem to have fun (Lucky Luke the archer or maybe some other barbs), but overall they still die. if it ever gets annoying, feel free to report via ticket so the GMs can check the items over. |
