Invasions: Draconic Gem - Tell us what you think!

Hey all!

We're currently very close to finishing all development related to the new invasion system, and we came across a peculiar topic that we'd wish to have official feedback of, directly from you.

We all know how this wish works and all the varied opinions that go around it, which is why we want to determine if we should keep or not this wish as a selectable option.

Keep in mind that in case the draconic gem wish is removed, our idea is to improve the existing ones.
It's worth mentioning that we'd love to add new wishes, but due to a matter of time (analyzing how new wishes may impact in the game, developing and implementing them) they'd never make it into this update.
However, if you wish to suggest potential wishes for the future, feel free to do so, but try not to focus the entire thread on that topic.

Anyway, that's basically it: What do you guys think about the draconic gem? Should we keep all wishes as they are right now, or should we remove the draconic gem wish and improve the other ones?

Improve the other wishes pls.
Drac gems almost always cause more drama than they're worth.

+10 000 hp and free war banner with 15 min cooldown

Thats all what Draconic gem should give to its owner

Running for one week. This hp buff only works if at least 5 ally is present within 30 m of the owner.

You can also add new wish - something like immediate superboss spawn

I would be willing to get it completely removed. Then in the case where you decide to not abolish it completely and therefore modify it, I would suggest to make it like a buff which can be removed by MS, and prevented by Confuse/Darkness. Maybe give it a cooldown or it can act like Mindblank, activable but affected by the above mentioned spells.

Also, the HP and mana value on it should be enough if I may so, the attack speed is really not needed.

I can think of only these at the moment, if I get more ideas I will post later.

Remove dragonic gem completely.
Stupidest wish ever, should have been removed long ago. Selfish, egotist.

Replace it with something more useful, like increased mob spawn rate for a week for all levels. Might increase Wz activity too lel, since the enemy goes to that realm to grind too

my opinion, it cause way to much drama and bickering in the realms. +1 just remove it.

it might cause drama in the realm which can afford a wish like this. I think this it the only wish which is not detrimental to realm balance. So better keep it!

I'd say keep it. But in future release change it from FFA to a drop. The more invasion related mechanism an account was involved in, the higher their chance of getting the drop. And I'd do it by account so if someone logs their n00b to get possible WMC, they aren't discounted if the realm chooses Drac.

Present for fort/castle/wall capture +1 each, helped unlock gem +1, present at wish +1. Too complex? Perhaps. But then those who helped most have the greatest chance of reward. Heck maybe even make it "need not be present to win".

And for extra points, have the Drac give different bonus based on the class of the character using it (like dragon armor...)

The Draconic Gem is a lot of fun, but it can be really awkward in its current state and many feel its power to be unfair. For now, the best option is to remove the Draconic Gem and improve the other wishes. Maybe Draconic Might will find its place at some point, but it appears that its current state is an overall poor quality mechanic.

I agree with this. I'd rather the wish be replaced. But if you DO keep the drac gem wish, making it a spell that you can activate, that can be canceled by certain spells.... AND with cooldown is a perfect change to it.

Still would rather see the wish gone though.
