Re-Setting Controls Problems

I've just switched to a new computer, and because of this when I logged into the game the controls were set on their default values(obviously), but when i opened the keyboard window to change the controls to what i preferred i couldn't get anything to work.
Every time i clicked to change the letter a red message appeared at the top saying "Notice: the selected key can not be assigned". This message continues to pop up even though all I'm trying to do is change the controls. Its as if they are saying the the "click" itself is the new control that I'm trying to assign, when in reality I'm just trying to select the letter so that i can change it to a different control.
If anyone has any advice that I can use to fix this it would be extremely helpful.

We already fixed this in the current development stage. For the next version of the game this fix will be available.
