Default Updated has downloaded .exe nonstop

So basically, i've downloaded RegnumOnline.exe about 50 times now. So I start the .exe, and every 10 seconds it downloads the .exe, goes away, and starts again about 10 seconds later. Any help?

-Add, just noticed that every time it restarts, I get another RegnumOnline.exe Process. Had like 25 when I just checked.

Try doing this:

Go to: C:\Program Files\NGD Studios\Regnum Online

Delete this file: RegnumOnline.exe

Execute this file: RegnumOnlineOld.exe

Then tell me how did it go!

Maybe some kind of antivirus/firewall software is blocking RegnumOnline.exe to be modified.

If andrians idea did not help,

try the following:
1)Delete the live server folder.
2)Log on again and let the game patch itself again.
3)Come back to the thread and tell us how it went for you.

Regards

I have the same problem as Kanosei, and neither of the above posts has helped.
I've tried disabling my firewall, that didn't help. My anti-virus and anti-spyware products shouldn't be interfering either.
I've also tried making sure that the Regnum Online folder and all its contents were not read only, but that also didn't work.

pre-post edit:
It's fixed, or appears to be.
I ended the process using task manager (after clicking exit on the program), and started it up again after re-deleting the Live Server folder.

HOLY SHIT.

I had the same problem and I just waited. turning off your firewall helped with me, and pressing alt+ctrl+delete then looking at processes and deleting all regnum online then executing again is better.

It might be because he haven't logged on for a long time and he needed some new .exe files. I still have an installer from beta and when I did that it updated the exe file like 20 times or so.
