Msgbox says:
Unsupported video card! There are three possible causes for this error: 1. Your video card is too old 2. You haven't installed the latest available drivers 3. You haven't installed the latest DirectX version Nothing else! V_V... i can click on "ok" botton only. glxinfo | grep version says: server glx version string: 1.2 client glx version string: 1.4 GLX version: 1.2 OpenGL version string: 1.3 Mesa 6.5.2 and glxinfo | grep direct says: direct rendering: Yes In my "control center", i checked out "monitor & displey" settings and it says: Graphic card: ati Driver: ati (i think the fglrx, but im not sure)... If u need, the kernel version is 2.6.20-16-generic (the last one)... Need something else? Any ideas? (p.s. im not expert with linux) |

You need to install the fglrx driver and not use the default i810 or the ati that usually get's populated. There are tons of how-to's on the Ubuntu forums for this issue. Also, I'd suggest that you disable shaders and run in safe mode as well (for the game):
Add this to game.cfg in your regnum directory dbg_disable_shaders=1 And set the client to run safe mode. GL

If you have a debian based distribution, the easier way to install a graphic card driver (ATI and NVIDIA) is using envy... even if you're new to linux that's quite simple :
