Default Not gone yet!

My ISP in China has been hit with what they are referring to as an ARP network virus (this may be incorrect as I'm trying to translate with my limited Chinese!). I've been unable to log into my network server, and have had difficulty logging into Regnum when I've tried from friend's houses.

If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know. I'm suffering Regnum withdrawl symptoms.

Hopefully I'll have some luck when I hit Thailand on vacation shortly.

ARP is a protocol that resolves IP adresses to hardwareadresses.
maybe they were referring to the censorship system that fucks up the internet down there

I hope it works again at some point

I hope so too Twix.

It appears that what I have is an ARP worm that affects Windows Vista.

Quote:
Microsoft Windows Vista ARP Table Entries Denial of Service Vulnerability

Microsoft Windows Vista is prone to a denial-of-service vulnerability.

Remote attackers may exploit this issue by submitting malicious ARP requests to the vulnerable computer. To exploit this issue, attackers must have access to the local network segment of a target computer.

Remote attackers can exploit this issue to cause the network interface to stop responding, denying further service to legitimate users.
A friend thinks this could be fixed by a registry cleaner he uses, so we'll try that shortly.
