Probably not the right thread for this, but:

Dwarf archers are ridiculous IMO. Especially LB using dwarf archers. They should be forced to use only shortbows. And before anyone screams "that's not fair!", neither is trying to find/select little knee height fat people in a wild battle. Likewise, they can hide behind almost anything.

Their very height is a very real and distinct advantage....it needs to be balanced. I say make the little buggers slower and restrict them to shortbows(which makes total sense- a longbow is taller than a dwarf to begin with).

EDIT TO ADD: Perhaps dwarven archers should only be able to use crossbows.

Probably not the right thread for this, but:

Elfen archers are ridiculous IMO. Especially those using pointed arrows. They should be forced to use only arrows with damage-10. And before anyone screams "that's not fair!", neither is having the highest dex possible on them so they deal more damage and hit better then any other archer.

Their high dex is a very real and distinct advantage....it needs to be balanced. I say allow only -10damage arrows for them(which makes total sense- they deal loads of damage and more accurate then any other archer).

Sorry Val, thats not an constructive post of me, but i get fed up with ridiculas(?) suggestions like that lately. Its a Game ... its fiction ... all this arguing from realworldterms is just °!"§%$!"%$. Every realm got some advantages .. target the dwarf earlier, hope for better targetting later in development ... not allowing dwarfen archers to use longbows will make balancing (from overall Hunter-Marks-Conju-Warlock-Knigh-Barb) even more difficult as you have to balance all (9?) races as well.

And no... my archer isnt dwarfish at all.
