Regnum+Vista

How do you install Regnum on Vista? I saw how on an earlier thread but it didn't work out in the end.

Any help?

Install it outside the Program Files folder, i.e.: C:\Regnum.

That should work

1. install regnum outside the program files folder i.e. C:\Regnum
2. make a shortcut to it on your desktop
3. right-click the shortcut and pick properties
4. on the compatibility tab, set it to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP
5. at the bottom, check run this program as an administrator
6. click apply, then ok
to make sure it works, look at the desktop icon for regnum. It should have a little shield. when you double-click to run it, it will pop up the "Allow/Cancel" menu. Click allow and off you go.

nope id do this

1. uninstall vista
2. kick yourself for using vista
3. install xp or linux
4. kick yourself again for using vista
5. download RO and install it
6. kick yourself again for using vista
7. enjoy the game

Well, with all the deals MS has with most laptop companies and retailers, you'd be stuck with vista and not know why. Not to mention some other deals with laptop companies to NOT provide xp drivers for their laptops. Kinda makes you wanna go over there and bomb the living hell out of them.

i know i didnt have anything to do with this, but you seem to have fixed my regnum too
