For All The Knights
I apologise for not posting this in the knights balance thread but seems as noone ever reads it...To get to the point:
Knights should be tanks thats a fact.Unfortanetly we have become trash cans.Half of our defence spell in vanguard are("soaping damage skill tree") crap.I have tested 3 of the most apsurd. Challenge on lvl5 (40% miss chance) gets 1-2 misses in a 10hit test. Rigorous preparation on lvl5 (Target hit chance -25% Target critical hit chance -16%) gives 0-3 evades more in a 10hit test. Awareness on lvl5 (Target miss chance 23%) gives 0-2 evades in a 10hit test Together these spells give 4-5 evades in a 15 hit test! I mean just reading the effects of these spells gives you the impression they are crap.I belive NGD should remove these spells and implement other ones.suggestions: Magic rebound!put it in vanguard!we will keep the protector then! All melee damage resistance.lvl1 5% lvl2 10%...lvl5 25%.make us real tanks! Mana reserve pasive.like twix suggested some mana cant be stolen from a knight. Make our HP bigger for 30%!Its not fair that barbs have same hp as barbs!Make us tank! Or make troll skin add 1000hp! Make Army of One that cant be dispelled!I know many people will say thats not right but let me elaborate class by class: A barbarian can use thirst for blood and do 1-1.5k dmg on knight with AoO!!! A marksmen can cast Etheral arrow every 15 sec without any cast time! A hunter can simply run around and cast ensnare arrow untill it expires! A warlock can freeze pricky and stop you untill it expires! A conju can pricky like a warlock and also cast steel skin(that should be also un-dispellable) and resist most of the damage for 15sec longer then the knight! Shields: Fix Heroic presence!the spell is bugged and it looses effects when enemy comes in the range. Also the neverending topic of protector.Give us our base attacks disable casting spells... More to come(i hope).... Please NGD i would love to hear what you guys think.Knights are unhappy because you removed our damage and gave us nothing but promises about better defence.If you could comment and tell us what are your plans and will you consider these and other suggestions i would be really really gratefull! I like where this is going but will caution that if all of those things are implemented knoight may become too powerful. Maybe implement one or two along the way and allow Megrim to work his magic and slowly bring us up to par with everyone else.

mm a little un blacence not really south cross is our only life saver and its true what red says all of this is true we have crappy skills in vanguard and barbs the same hp as us as you can see in pvps barbs would win we cast AoO we have 500 or so left of mana just by using two south cross thats our mana yes a knight can kill a barb but take a barb like Mala Persona he wont be killed by a knight ive never seen him die by one ive tried with every way of skill set up maybe not all but most and nothing really works AoO is a good spell but everybody knows the trick on the skill already 30 seconds of ring-around-therossy mages the mental tree locks arcania slow mind push all of these barbs can use balestrea or can run around us marksman escapist or w/e for 30 seconds is all they need ... really we need some real defence skills in our discplines....

Barbs don't have the same hp as knights.
Knights have a const passive and troll skin. And red, I'm sure the point is to BALANCE knights, not overpower them. |

This was the worst I've heard for some while.
With the changes you propose knights would be almost unkillable. Add to this, the fact that knights can already cause 400 dmg each hit with slow Blunt weapons... I loved Elriks ideas for improving the knight but this is madness.

30% extra hp is just to much. We already have 180% armor instead of the 140% of barbarians. And for extra health use stone temple or troll's skin. I guess magic rebound would be the same as retaliation, I don't think that will be overpowered. AoO not affected by mind squats..... That spell was made to counter AoO and such spells I don't think you should it make that way. I would prefer to just follow Elriks suggestion.
