Magical items in syrtis?
Today I saw strange things: knights running faster than hunters, and with really a lot of range... Obviously no onslaught on them since they were alone... Is there a matter of magical items?

Ive seen many times an ignian barb switching to an axe when beeing chased.
Something weird seems to be going on [/music_xfiles=off] Ok, theres no logical reason other than aesthetical for a barb to switch weapons when running (be honest, barbs running with spears look extremley gay ) |

if its not a speed hack.. the knight used his booster while moving... currently the speed smoke trail will not show unless the player stops then starts to run again. if its not the first 2 statements from above.. then the hunter must not have passive speed lvl 5 mobility... or just has crappy lag.... i myself am a lvl 50 hunter with max passive speed and max mobility... 15+25% speed... 40% total.. and a mage without onslaught caught me due to horrible lag.... and the lag was not all at once.. its was in tiny steps.... every 5 seconds or so... for only .8 of a second... and he caught me.... |

Thanks demon, you've been very exaustive
I think about the hack cause it happens often with the same player and for what I saw (since I have not an hunter) the hunter had passive on (he overrun me always) and the lag was acceptable...

I have hunted with a pair of Knights before and they always somehow manage to keep up with me even though I am a hunter with the lvl 5 speed passive. Also, I had no lag at the time so... are knights turning into the fastest class or something?

Spring is more powerful than mobility, lots of knights have it on lvl 4.

About spring and mobility who cares? The point is often I see strange behaviours in warzone! Simply me, as a knight, can't never overrun an hunter... So I guess how others can do it! And I saw them do it, it's not a matter of mobility or spring. I have it on lvl 4 but even on lvl 5 can't outrun an hunter. I must say that often I'm also slower than mages (surely lag here) but this doesn't explain how they can do it.

I'm against anything with 20 kilo of armour holding a big iron weapon that can walk faster than someone with leather armour and a wooden/bone bow. It just doesn't make sense. I agree with what refe suggested in a topic somewhere else that the hunters speed should be tuned up a bit and/or onslaught/spring a bit lower. I'm for the first one since warriors should be able to reach their targets at least a while before they're shot by marksmen(aka can-openers). But we're hunters, meant for speed. And if meat in a can can overtake us something is wrong.
