Good news, or bad depending if you like me or not. I found the issue dealing with my linux boxen. I should be back in-game within 24 hours. I ran into trouble while upgrading to Ubuntu 8.04. Apparently the new stock Nvidia driver used (nvidia-glx-new) doesn't like Regnum too much. My simple fix was just to remove the new driver and revert to nvidia-glx.

If you are one of those people that gets white lines when starting and playing the game, I recommend you try this fix.
