Default [Spell question] Magic barrier

I have question about Magic barrier.
It is spell from Life tree.
Casting: 2
Range: 25
Cooldown: 120
Duration: 120
Variable attributes Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 Level 4 Level 5
Cost 250 275 300 325 350
Resist magical damage 10% 15% 20% 25% 30%

It looks like Spell elude, shame that you can use it only on one player.
My question is: Is this spell working? Anyone tested it?

It has nothing to do with Spell Elude. You are confused with "Resist" and "resistance".

The spell is working fine, except the visual effect which is on the conj instead of the target.

To put it in hunter's terms, it's like Acrobatic for elemental damage, not Spell Elude.

I can't do more, Confuse prevents me to help people.

Bah :/ So it can reduce zarkits, warlock and some warrior-archer area spells?

Think about it like this: Magic barrier + material wall + acrobatic all at 5 = 60% resistance to damage.

Sounds good now doesen´t it?

+ Spell Eludes + Protection Dome = 80% Resist powers
+ Deflecting Barrier = 50% Cover
+ Dodge = +25% Evades
+ Mana Comm x3 = unlimited mana
+ Regenerate Ally +Greater Heal lv 5 = +90 hp/sec
+ Bless Weapon lv 4 = +20% weapon damage

= God.. oops, no. Vincent Vega at Pines (without Dodge most of the time though and afaik Ignis conj don't use Magic Barrier/Material wall lv 5 so it's "only" 40% resist damage. I know in Alsius some Conjs who use Material Wall & Magic Barrier lv 5 though)

dodge is cool, but powerpoints are limited...

and the cd/dur time is not in sync so it would be a pain to recast it.
It seems to be way more effective than sotw, and sotw itself isnt too bad
