Installing on Mac

When I download the Linux version, it downloads itself as a quicktime file? WTH Is that all about? If its a Linux version then it should run on my Linux Mac no? Makes no sense!

Well I don't know anything about autodownloading, but if your mac is x86 and you run linux on it you can play regnum. And if you have one of the new macs with the nvidia graphics it will run even better (:

What file did you download?
The new installer?

Try to start it from a shell

Code:

./Regnum*

in the same directory as the installer.
You might need to give it execute permissions too, try

Code:

chmod +x ./Regnum*
