Texture bug, keeps happening.
This has happened several times in the last week or so (but never before that)
Occasionally all the game textures switch to the incorrect ones, so that it becomes unplayable. The fix is to go into options and change screen resolution (and then I can change it back). This makes everything back to normal until it happens again. Yes, and easy fix but it's horrible when it happens during a fight. I hope this helps Screenshots of issue: |

Some questions:
- What video card do you have installed? - Have you upgraded your card to the latest drivers? (A small reminder: laptops usually need drivers from the manufacturer). - Have you tried safe mode in the launcher options? Does this help? Regards

nvidea GeForce 8600M GT
also, this didn't start happening until about a week ago, so I don't think it's a hardware issue. It also doesn't happen on launch. It seems to randomly happen while playing. I haven't tried safe mode. I'll play with that for a while and see if it happens. Also should I try deleting the LiveServer folder? Thanks Force safe mode appears to fix the problem. I played with it on for an hour or so, and the problem didn't occur. I'll continue to leave it on to see if it happens eventually. I hope this helps to find a solution (force safe mode hopefully isn't a permanent solution ) thanks Last edited by gamemod; 06-10-2008 at 01:55 AM. Reason: Double post. |

This still happens quite often; I'm not sure if NGD thinks they fixed it?
Thanks, -Plover

Good question. How do I find that in XP?
The computer is about half a year old, or less, so I would imagine driver version wouldn't be that much of an issue. But I'll check if you tell me how Thanks

Hi,
To find your nVidia driver version: Start > Run > "nvcpl.cpl" In the window that pops up, go to Help > System Information. ForceWare version is the number we are looking for. Regards.
