Game issue (ubuntu Linux)

I installed the game, then i lunch the "rolalauncher" i changed the language and other options. he were downloading some files. When he dowloaded those files. I
Saw an Error and it said:"error, Can't write . No premisson" or sth like that . Itrie to run from root but i saw the same error.

im running the client on linux without probs. so we schould get it fixed.

so the first an simple question win wich directory do you run it and ist this dir writable?

i always use

/usr/local/games/regnum$ sudo ./rolauncher

and working

the most probably error is that /usr/local/games/regnum has no writing permissions

you can do 2 things:
1- install teh game in ~/some_folder
2- enter terminal, type sudo chmod 777 /usr/local/games/regnum

i recommend to use the "home" dir for regnum and other games

fast howto for ubuntu (other nix to :>)
1. Download libs

Code:

sudo apt-get install libopenal0a libopenal-dev

2. Download game

Code:

sudo chmod 777 '/usr/local/games'
cd /usr/local/games
mkdir regnum
cd regnum
wget http://www.regnumonline.com.ar/downloads/files/rolauncher.tar.gz
tar xfz rolauncher.tar.gz
rm rolauncher.tar.gz
chmod +x rolauncher

3. Creat .openalrc file in you home directory

Code:

gedit ~/.openalrc

4. Write this&save

Code:

(define devices '(native))

5. RUN THE GAME

Code:

cd '/usr/local/games/regnum'
./rolauncher

how do you change language to english i cant tell what everything says when loading game
