Default Weapon damage and Armor calculation questions

Is there any way someone could detail out how this works?

Weapon Damage questions
  • What does Fast, Medium and Slow equal in a number of seconds per hit?
  • What attributes add to speed? If so how is that calculated?
  • What attributes add to damage? If so how is that calculated?
  • How does damage from bow plus the damage from the arrow add up?
  • Does the condition of a weapon (xxx/zzz) have any affect on damage?
Armor questions
  • What does Very Bad, Bad, Normal, Good, and Very Good equal in numbers or percentages for damage reduction per damage types?
  • Are there and attributes that adds to defense? If so how is that calculated?
  • How is the damage reduction calculated?
  • Does the condition of armor (xxx/zzz) have any affect on damage reduction?
  • How do the different parts of armor head, chest, arms, hands, legs, and feet add up to determine your total armor value?
  • How do the different pieces of the armor work with the different damage types?

The game is still in Beta and the formulas are still subject to modifications. When we launch the final version they will probably be disclosed.

As I´ve seen, this not make any difference, until broke is it.

Over the armor Characteristics, bad, good, etc seems like the improve duration make better stuff names =)

I completely understand that you can not disclose detailed info yet as the game is still in beta. Is there any way you could speak in more general terms on how the damage numbers work and how armor works? It would be very interesting to see the current thinking on this topic.

Lightbulb Brief combat manual

Having in mind that some players have required this information, in the near future we could make a very short manual with some combat specifications.

This information has to be available in english, spanish and possibly other languages. Actually we don't have the time to elaborate it right now.

As soon as we have news it will be notified in this forum topic.

Default effect = not much

In my experience, not much seems to make a difference.

when fighting voracious bears as a lvl 9 archer, I used piercing arrows (7-11 I think) w/long bow and did about 50 dmg. I switched to training arrows (2-4 I think) and did the same dmg.

I fought young aquantians with full armor and without armor to no apparent effect.

maybe it's just me, though.
