I am trying to keep an open mind about the new server.. .. can you please explain something to me.

why should I buy/use xim on new server?
I have spent a lot of xim on my char in RA that is now going to waste. And I do not wish to be fooled twice...
(please do not use the argument of "we are not forcing you to change" as correct for the short term you are not.. but in the not to distant future, English will not be a spoken language on RA, and the English only players who stuck it out, will slowly leave to Horus or Regnum.)

How do I know NGD will not do something equally good intentioned, that hurts a lot of players who have PAID them, again?

I don't think the server is as much to get old players to leave RA as it is to allow an environment for NEW players to come and stay, thereby increasing customer base. NGD prolly has the #(stats) of how many ppl stopped playing due to "lack of English environment" and Players = $$$$

What I understand you saying is:
"We don't care about who has PAID us, we only care about people who WILL PAY us."

I think what he means is that the people who dominate ra at the moment will just continue dominating horus, this is also people who did not pay.

When not allowing migration some people will pay again for xim to get to level 50 >_<

This is exactly my point, does NGD not care that we spent $$ (pardon if you used a different currency) ??
or does NGD ONLY care that we continue to spend $$?

Does NGD not see that the two are correlated? If players feel like $$ they spend go to waste.. why will they spend more $$ ?

This is more of foresight for NGD than trying to cheat you out of your money. If you spent money on Ra then just stay on Ra. NGD is just making room for a larger English playerbase in the future, who might be scared off if there are too many foreign languages floating around.

The best thing they can do is copy our players from Ra to the new server, after a month or two, let the new players get to a high lvl.

No, what NGD is doing is killing the english community in RA. It will take a while, maybe a year, but someday soon there will be almost no english speakers at all on that server.

You're confusing intentions with possible side effects. They have no reason to purposely try to remove English players from Ra.

Silver_Hawk4's argument is flat-out nonsense. Veteran players are going to dominate regardless of migration simply because they are veteran players(!). I'm not really sure what Silver_Hawk4's idea of new "legends" is, but if it has anything to do with the ratings board, then this just proves how green he really is. The entire idea of the new english server just another attempt to squeeze more cash out of players that have already paid through the nose. Only this time, NGD hopes to make more off of them due to the aweful "improvements" to the xp system.

Horus is the server by default. Ra is described as international (ES). Pretty clear that NGD wants to segregate engish and spanish communities.
