Tracking results

When I use Track Realm Enemy (not on level 5), I get results like (5)Mage and so on. What does the number here mean? I thought it's number of enemies but Tracking isn't supposed to give such info.

enemy surveillance gives this info on lvl2, never had track realm enemy above 1 (unsing them on 3 and 1 to get more infos about neared-ness)

on lvl 2 ..... it gives u (5) mage = 5 mages within 200m
lvl 3 ...... will also give you challenge within 250m
lvl 4 ..... " " 300m
lvl 5 ...... " " 350m

that's for basic tracking, tracking realm enemy is same, except for distance ...... I believe

I know how tracking works and as most of the hunters I use surveillance only. I was just wondering why track realm enemy shows the number even on lower level than 5.
