Default Dragon loot and realm imbalance

With the current spells, fire damage occurs far more often than ice or lightning. Especially ice can be only seen within arcana strike and winter stroke (The warlock ice dmg spells just suck, nobody uses them anyway ... ). But let me list all the rather often used spells containing fire dmg: Meteor, arcane missile, blaze, fireball, magma blast, ignus scorch, arcana strike. Apart from that, the ignean axe does quite some fire dmg (a common way to counter steel skin for non blunt barbs ... :/ ) but there isn't an alsirian or syrtian axe with ice/lightning dmg. Lightning dmg at least still occurs a bit more frequently than ice but still a lot less often than fire. The Alasthor/Aysor - "resist cold" is just worse than the corresponding bonus in the other realms.
Therefore I think that all boss monster drops with some kind of elemental dmg resistance should resist all 3 kind instead of only one realm specific kind.

Very good post Kathris.
This is a big problem which further adds on to the realm imbalance.

you know what made me think of this point again? Heg and I killed Aysor together with a lower lv knight. it took us quite some time. and I got this Aysor Amulett: resist cold +25. looool. If it were fire: wow. But cold --> trash.

Yes, and I've talked to several other players that got this amulet as well.
They all agree that it is totally useless.
Most people sell it to gain money.

Items that only resist one type of damage are largely useless anyway, at least compared to other items.
It would be better if they simply resisted physical or magical damage in general, IMO.

IMO all realms should have the same items, amulets and rings included.

Yes they should,

Theres a guide up on Rings and Amulets, and it shows perfectly what kind of balance there is In Ignis there is a Ring of Lightning that gives +5% Attack Speed, but this item just happens to be way over the top. The other items are useless,

When will boss loot really be like boss loot? Afaik Ignis has the most boss loot, but there are many rings and amulets in Syrtis and Alsuis with better effects.

Most of the items we get are useless, at all levels.

But I still think the best solution is to make ice based damage more common and attractive.

25% is a huge damage reduction if it was anything but ice damage id say it would be far too much.
As I understand all boss loot is fairly useless, exept some broken items and the sword in syrtis. Anyone know what the superboss drops?
