Question about the forum time
Ever since I played this game, the forum always seem to display the time 1 hour in advance to when the posts were actually made. For example, I can see the newest posts made at around 11:53pm when it's only 10:53pm where I am. I have the correct timezone selected in my profile (+8 GMT) and we do not have DST here.
edit: Even my post has the wrong timestamp

Hey e30ernest,
I live in GMT-5 and I have the DST corrections always off and my post time appears correctly. How do you have your settings in your profile regarding that? Regards. |

I have mine set to GMT +8 (Beijing, Perth, Singapore, Hong Kong) with DST set to always off. It displays the same on all of the computers I use to browse the site so I doubt its a cookie issue.

I think it should correct it, but I find it strange that I have to turn it on since we do not have DST where I am. Thanks for your time Wyatt!

Oh wait it made it worse lol. Turning on DST moved the time 2 hours ahead of mine.

Seems to me like you will have to move to GMT+7 in the forum.
Put DST always off. Might solve the problem you have. Test it and see. |

Testing time stamp on another PC...
edit: The forum time is still 1 hour ahead of my real time when I select my correct time zone. Wyatt, while your suggestion will definitely work, it'll just mask a problem (albeit a minor one) regarding the forum.

Yeah I figured it was a way around that problem.
I also tested it myself and was not able to get the correct time using the GMT+8 time zone, which is why I tried with GMT+7 to at least "solve" the issue for you at least. I suggest you leave it at GMT+7 so at least you view the forum using that time zone, is definately a forum related problem with that. At least we tried . Regards.
