I'm in the process of lvling both this class atm, but have been worried in both cases about their effectiveness.

Warlock: I have more than once heard the comment that 'the worst thing to be in the game is an Alsius warlock'. This says it all really. Realm imbalance aside, locks are usually the easiest and quickest to kill, mainly i think because they have have no 'get out of jail free card' - unlike all other classes (barb have none also but their speed can frequently get them out of a tight spot.) Their protection is also very weak, and imo not made up for by their strong attack.

Knight: i think they should be able to hit a little harder, have more dmg resistance, and importanly: their blocking system must be more equable - not one minute blocking everything and next minute blocking nothing. It should be something in between - always! - a reliable and expectant rate of blocks. (Same goes with evade spells of other classes, i suppose.)
With these attributes, knight would be a very appealing class.

Don't get me wrong here, stronger locks and knights will make the work of my main character (hunter) much harder. But for the sake of balance and fairness, i'm all for this.

Speaking of my main character: hunters may not be the strongest class in the game but i'm the first to admit that they get away with far too much, as things are.

Balance is... hard to say the least, with so many situations that need to be applyed to it, hunting, forts, lvling etc...

Imo If all the spells worked correctly, then other than a few tweaks to blocks/evasion/general dmg, I think the game would be pretty balanced.

Last thing we need is people saying oh we cant make warlock stronger because they will not be easy to kill on my hunter anymore people should take wudys veiw on things The harder the kill the greater the satisfaction if you succeed

Hit Harder? I think 1.4 k knight southcrosses are high enough. Really. I'd definitely agree with that blocking system issue, but only if knights do less damage.

Knights are really hard to beat now, if they know how to play their char. More damage and more blocking would create an unbeatable killing machine. And it would make barbs absolutely redundant.

Have you played a knight? Against which class would said SC be its not often a knight will land a Sc over 1k without some serious pre-buffing. In the open Knights are one of the easyest classes to Kill as a Archer. Lower hits? If lvling a knight gets any harder then instead of giveing players considering it a heads up that its hard work I will simply tell them to not bother unless you dont want to hit 50 for 6-7 months.

Knights are broken, Blocks need to be fixed the RNG is to unrelyable, But at the cost of even more atk power? You do know that knights atk was allready lowered once right? (-20% from Str i think) With even less killing archers will be nigh impossibe, against any decent archer a knight only lands a few hits anyway, they need to count.

You are using the exception, rather than the rule here.

Most knights hit like fairies.

When i get balestra'd from a knight on my hunter, and he proceedes to hit me for, like 200 normals and 350 riposts (which is frequently the case), i rarely feel worried at all.

And S/C dmg is another issue.

Warlocks worst enemies:
- evades and blocks (our normal attacks sucks we need our spells hitting especially if that are SK, Vampirism or Energy Borrow)

- ability to stand inside warlock and walk through him (breaking all spells he is trying to cast)

Additional feature that is really annoying looks like this. Warlock running with others, they dont use their movement spells to keep coherency and buffing themselves in move..look at warlock now..Arcane devotion - pit stop - Energy barrier - longer pit stop... damn.. I feel like F1 driver

I must admit that i run through enemies when i am fighting them.

But i agree that it shouldn't be able to be done. Characters ought to be 'solid' imo.

And casting buffs whilst on the move would also be another way of helping warlocks - the way archers can cast theirs whilst moving.
