Besides the guide by Lawie, posted by Persephone, and the one posted by Imasu, you have the official starter's guide that's somehow less technical but will give you a glimpse of the overall game.

dont know what realm you might choose , but i do know you'll really enjoy it .

lol taeris is crazy but yea if u go to alsius look up morphine or if u in syrtis look up refetan and in ignis contact me stn il help u out start and stuff if u need to

refetan is mostly using slimjim now i think it was

but also, if you join syrtis, look around for members of guardians of power cause if you are in need of help all are very freindly and help ya

Yes, I am mostly using my lvl 45 barb by the name of Slim Jim. So STN be ready for me.
