I am askin for some advise
I have started several threads as to recomendations from players as to which server and country etc would be a good start in this game ..and pretty much have gotten null in any response..i presently am playing a game where im capped out per level an was looking for another game to play as i enjoy pvp on a mass scale and this game seemed to had offered such.
Hopefully the lack of input is not a true reflection of the community as a whole (or perhaps my thread was too obscure)..i had tried out the ra server and its supposed to be bilingual , but then alot may had migrated to the horus server im not sure,as i was in ingus and only once got a response in english(which is not the issue) but iwas looking for a guild in order to have some sense of community,as im a guild master myself on an international server i can understand what it means to have a good guild to build said community. Now if anyone could please lend some suggestion as to which server would be best to start with an active WZ as my end goal would be greatly appreciated(i play 4story atm) and its similar in concept. Thank you>, lvl 50 assassin Twottitdo Fateswarning GM (4story Defugal) |

I'm not sure about Ra, but most of Horus speaks english.
Our WarZone is semi active. Sometimes parties are organized, via the Realm Chat. Don't expect to be running into other players (friend or foe) in the WZ without trying to. If you really want to kill other players then you should consider being a hunter, as they can track realm enemies. Also Alsius is losing really bad, and Syrtis and Ignus are about equal.

Hello,
For server recommendation I would like to invite you to Horus(International) where there isn't any language barriers. Most of the Horus community is English, although we have a few other languages on the Game Server. If you'd like to find a Guild The Dark Legion(Which I am leader of) is always recruiting for active members. We are a Clan on Horus in the Ignis realm, check our Website if you wish. (The site is under development but the forum is ok). Having said that, I believe you should pick a Server that you personally will feel confortable in and know that at least everyone in the Realm can speak English as you, so I recommend the International server Horus for you. Hope you find a Clan/Server that you would like to stay in and get involved in the community. Regards. |

As jpicon said the Horus International Server is a good place to start because the primary language is English. Currently for realm balance the following realms get xp bonuses: Ignis 5% and Alsius 15%, with Alsius also getting a 50% gold bonus.
Kninja's statement is only a half truth, when Alsius' players are online we do not lose. We maybe on the defense more than the other realms, but we are able to defend our gate handily from invasion. The other half to that story is that most of Alsius veterans have logged out after GMT 0300, while other realms have players just logging on. During this lull in our activity it is possible to invade Alsius (Syrtis as well,) Ignis has the most players on during that time frame. Each realm has its strong points and demerits, so believe it or not some people just chose a realm based on what color they like. I would not tout the clan I am in or any other clan if you were to come to Horus. Each clan has its own distinct style and flavor, even if some are acquired tastes, best left up to how you like to play your character and who you can tolerate. If you like a challenge I can heartily recommend Alsius. |

A good starting "mmorpg" realm is Horus as its WZ, does go inactive around 4:00am GMT which allows the lower levels to get out more. During this time I have literally walk the whole map without finding anybody. Horus has less people and is very nub-friendly and yes the main language is English and 94% of the players speak it.
Ra on the other hand is good for more "veteran" players, as its warzone always has a lot of activity. There is a lot more people that play on the Ra server, mostly Spanish speakers, although there is a very large English base also. |

RA vs Horus (pro and cons) imo
RA Positive: * Many players = big wars and players everywhere to hunt = fun * Many veteran players that can learn new players how to play good * You cannot understand what all the unmature kids says, because they all speak Spanish Negative: * Many Spanish people knows how to speak English - but will only do it if they like you/know you (I do the same myself with Spanish players ) * Harder to organize and create tactics in war because of language barrier * Few English clans * Lag at certain times of the day due to many players Horus Positive: * Mainly English speaking people which makes it easier to cooperate in wars * Many English clans * Less lags (?) because of fewer players Negative: * Less players = less action = boring * You can understand what all idiots says (ofcourse this doesn't mean all people are idiots there)

Ra has a lot of english speakers, you just have to find them I think that we "ignore" the realm chat because yea, its mostly spanish gibbrish.

Thank you all for your help its greatly appreciated i prefer the challenge of a good WZ myself as i had said before what i play now has excellent set up much the same as regnum with active pk zones but our WZ/TW is limited to just a half hour a day and the population is still neglegitable. being im american though my hours would be much the same as most of the spanish language here from south/central america.
Ignus looks to be much like the defugal counterpart of current game i play also. Alsius has been a consideretion of mine also as from what i can tell in the clan rankings there seems to be a fair amount of pk?warzone activity on all 3 kingdoms parts. how long has this game been capped at 50? and how is the grind V leveling from compare to other games (4story is typical korean brand grind) |

The grinding part is rather slow and painful, sadly.
But it's really all about how much money you want to invest - because leveling is the part of the game NGD makes money from. You can buy an instant lvl 30 scroll and then go on with +200% xp bosters from there on. It will cost you quite some money, but it's a one time investment (if you don't plan on leveling up other characters) and will get you to lvl 50 very fast. Level 50 has been the cap since the game was created, as far as I know, and I doubt it will change. Getting to level 50 is already hard enough. Possibly as hard as reaching level 80 on WoW.

Especially considering that the last 10 levels are harder than the first 40
