Crashing after chosing the character

Everytime I try to log on I get to being able to chose my character& then after ive chosen my character it says that an unexplained error has occured and then crashes. I was playing fine untill the server went down yesterday for maintenance & now I have only been able to get back on to the server after I re-downloaded the game, and that was only for about 5 minutes before it crashed, am I the only one with this problem, I even tried turning off my firewall, but that did nothing to solve the problem, and infact made it worse!!

the same thing has been happening to me please help us NGD, this is starting to get on my nerves.
