Installing and Running

hey. i just switched from windows vista. to mandriva 2008.0
and im very very new to it and i need to find out how to install and run regnum online. after i get done downloading.
thanks in advance

p.s i also need to know if it matters if i install 32 or 64 bits?

If you installed the 64bit version of Mandriva, then u will need the 64bit version of the RO installer, otherwize the 32 bit version. Make the installer file executable (look to the filepreferences) and then click on it. It could be that you have to install 32bit libraries if u have the 64bit version of Mandriva. If u have not any sound in RO, you have to install the package OpenAL probably.

There are some linux programs, somewhat like windows that prefer the 32-bit environment and are a bit buggy under x64. If you choose to install a 64 bit version of RO just make sure you have the 32 bit compatibility layers installed for your distribution since only the launcher is 64-bit and the rest of the game is 32bit.

erm, i have same problem, i did 32-bit and i didnt the properties, thing but it still won run. I dont know how to make it run either.
